The job as US Power Trader

You will join our ambitious US Power team and play a direct role in a fast-growing trading setup operating in the evolving US power market.

From day one, you will be close to the market - executing trades, tracking real-time developments, and contributing to how we improve performance. You will work alongside experienced traders, quantitative analysts, and developers, where ideas are tested quickly and impact is visible.

You can look forward to

• Executing trades in the US power markets, with a focus on short-term opportunities

• Contributing to the development and implementation of trading strategies

• Monitoring real-time market data and making fast, informed decisions

• Working closely with other traders, analysts, and developers to optimize tools and insights

• Evaluating trading positions with a focus on risk management

• Challenging the status quo and helping rethink strategy and execution approaches

What we are looking for

• You have a Master’s or PhD in Finance, Economics, Mathematical Economics, or another quantitative field

• You are interested in financial or commodity markets and motivated to understand what drives them

• You make decisions with confidence under pressure and take ownership of the outcome

• You think analytically and structure problems clearly; technical skills are a plus

• You bring a collaborative mindset and positive, competitive energy to the team

• You are naturally curious and quick to learn, especially when facing complex challenges
