Are you excited by the challenge of optimizing strategies in constantly changing markets? We are looking for Quantitative Traders at both mid and senior levels to join our ambitious Intraday Trading team.
The role as Quantitative Trader for Intraday Trading
As a Quantitative Trader, you’ll work hands-on with trading, data, and execution in the European intraday power market. You’ll develop and run systematic trading strategies based on market insights and large datasets.
You’ll be part of a skilled and diverse algorithmic trading team with a shared focus on data-driven trading and a shared goal of building one of the strongest setups in the market.
You will report to our Head of Algorithmic Trading, Bjarke Svane.

Identifying and exploring new trading opportunities in the market
Developing and improving quantitative trading strategies using machine learning and market insights
A short path from idea to market position
Building and improving signal generation and execution systems
Optimizing and scaling our live trading and execution algorithms
Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines strong quantitative skills with a sharp trading mindset - someone who is motivated by performance, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Your experience and skills
A strong quantitative background in e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or similar
Experience with Python and standard libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, etc.
Master machine learning and data-science fundamentals
For senior candidates: + 2 years of experience trading CWE
For mid-level candidates: top of your university class

You are highly driven and competitive, with a strong motivation to turn ideas into measurable trading performance

You are curious and continuously seek to improve - whether it’s strategies, processes, or your own performance
You are willing to put in the effort required to solve complex problems and constantly raise the bar
You care about the quality and robustness of what you build, especially when it is live and business-critical
You share ideas openly but are just as comfortable pushing things forward yourself
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
