The job as Senior Software Developer

As our new Senior Software Developer, you will support global trading operations and help optimize key systems. You will become a vital member of our experienced technology team, contributing significantly to the continued development of our applications. The diversity in our team's technical backgrounds and expertise drives innovation and high-quality problem-solving. With the use of cutting-edge technology, we support the business as best as possible and ensure operational excellence on a global scale.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include

• Designing, developing, and enhancing applications for our teams operating in our back office
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders in: finance, risk, treasury, market access, compliance, traders, data engineers, and developers to implement tailored solutions.
• Driving tasks throughout the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and clear communication with stakeholders
• Maintaining and improving existing business-critical systems to ensure reliability and scalability
• Help our tech-savvy colleagues to become even stronger in our company technology stack

What we are looking for

We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented software professional with a deep understanding of full-stack development and agile methodologies. You must be motivated by solving complex problems in the financial world and continuously improving systems.

Skills we believe are important for success

• Holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Communicating fluently in English and collaborating effectively with global teams.
• Bringing 6+ years of experience in a software development role.
• Having industry experience from trading and/or the financial sector.
• Demonstrating advanced skills in the C#/.NET tech stack and different query languages.
• Having experience with Python to enhance the tech collaboration with our tech savvy colleagues.
• Applying strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Showing proactivity, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage tasks independently.
